247. A Hard Boiled Egg

I was told a long time ago that if I want to peel a boiled egg easily I would have to soak it in cold water after it's boiled, otherwise it would look like the egg on the right (the peeled eggs, in the pic above). So, I've been using that tactic for quite a long time and somehow it worked most time and didn't work some time.

It leaves me wondering if it is true or not.

I would love to know if there are any other ways to make sure a hard boiled egg will peel smoothly, easily.

Or does it depend on whether an egg is fresh or not?

Cheerio.

Salam Pak Idrus,
Thank you for letting me know...I appreciate this v much. I did and was wondering how my blog would look in another pc or laptop :)

I tried changing my font colour to white to this background but it wasn't better.

I will do something about it, please let me know if it is easier to read then :)

To Pak Idrus & all my friends & readers ...
I've changed my previous blog background to this one & bold the fonts, I hope my posts are easier to read now (grins)

Cheerio.

I had no problem reading your blog anyway. Bout the eggs, I really have no idea about this. I usually peel it under running tap water when it's still very hot and so far it will peel off easily. I agree with you-it might also depends on whether the egg is fresh or not.

Puan Isah, It would be better if you just take the fancy background away.

In blogging the written posting and the photos are the most important aspects of blogging. You want others to enjoy reading the posting without been distracted by those fancy background.

Have a nice day.
