295. Bubor Keladi Macaroni

Hubby brought home a number of these yams (Ubi keladi).

So I decided to make 'bubor' (pengat?) mixing it with some of these macaroni (which I already have in my food compartment).

San Remo's Macaroni


Ingredients to Use:-

2 packets of Cocolin Powdered Santan (coconut milk)
5 cups of water
5 tablespoons of sugar (or according to how sweet you want)
A pinch of salt
4 pieces of daun pandan
2 cups of macaroni (soak them in water first before you start cooking)
1 big yam (skinned and cut into small cubes)

To cook, very simple!

In a pot, pour 5 cups of water .
Tie up the 4 pieces of pandan leaves and throw into the pot of water.
Let it boil (you can smell the aroma of pandan leaves).
Add the Cocolin powdered coconut milk (add and mix it with some water first before adding).
Add the 5 tablespoons of sugar (taste for how sweet you want).
Add the washed cube yam and the macaroni(which were sieved and let to dry) in.
Add a pinch of salt.
Let it boiled and feel for the yam (if cooked and soft).
I also add some of my Cendol 'not colored yet' sago pellets (half a cup).
Once cooked and soft, off the fire.
Taste for sweetness.

OMG! Tak penah dgr bubur keladi macaroni tapi namapak sedap Mak Isah..something new to me nih! Bestnya yaya, mak dia pandai masak :)

Mak saya pernah pegi cari tuan punya kebun ubi kat tepi jalan sebab saya teringin nak makan ubi kayu rebus...

jagung, ubi, keladi dan sewaktu dengannya dalam versi rebus... My favourite... :)

Betul tak penah dengar? ish..
Mmg sedap ni..kalau dah sejuk sikit taruh dlm fridge, let it cool, then eat!

Mak isah selalu nya bila masak, ala kadar je, apa ada kat rumah :)

Alaa..sayang jauh ni..2 mangkuk pun mak isah nak bagi

mak isah pun suka makan jagung rebus, dan ubi kayu rebus..fuyoo..makan petang2 sambil minum teh panas!

Tahniah dah berumah baru! Nampaknya ramai orang pindah rumah bulan ni. Biasa dengan bubur keladi, tapi campur dgn marcaroni? Bila ingat marcaroni tu gandum, memang boleh dijangka itu satu marvellous combination. Saya yakin bubur 'keroni' tu sedap! Jika guna sphagetti potong pendek-pendek, mungkin jadi macam bubur ca ca tak? Have a nice day!

Terima kasih :) Saje isah nak cuba blogger themes baru ni, agak canggih jugak! tapi kena byk makan masa isah so last night tak de buat post pulak. Yang ini try try je, warna terlalu terang :)

A'ah masa nak buat tu takde spaghetti he he..so yang ada yang pendek2 ni :) so isah campur je la. Second day Aya minta buat lagi this time dia tambah her homemade tapioca flour balls warna ungu isah campur semua. Dah pun jadi bubor ca ca! LOL..
