116. Ayam Masak Percik Kelantan

On Sunday morning I learnt 2 recipes from my sister-in-law, Rokayah. She used to be a chef at Merdeka hotel in Kuching before. Well, sorry I had to use both languages here :) If you don't understand do ask, you're most welcome.


Ayam Percik Kelantan

Ayam 1 ekor
Lengkuas 2"
Serai 2 batang
Bawang Benggali 2
Halia 1"
Serbok Jintan Manis 1 susu teh
Serbok Jintan Putih 1 susu teh
Santan 2 plastik atau 2 paket
Cili padi ikut rasa
Gula secukup rasa
Garam dan ajinomoto secukup rasa

Blender kan lengkuas, serai, halia , bawang. Masuk kan kedalam kuali. Didihkan dengan api sederhana. Masukkan cili padi yang telah di blender, masuk kan ayam dan santan. Masuk kan jintan manis dan jintan putih. Masak hingga daging ayam lembut. Masuk kan gula, garam dan aji secukup rasa.

Another way to do the chicken is grill it and then cut into pieces before pouring the same gravy onto it.
